Miniskirts, Napa, and my Cousin Eden! XOXO

I decided to do a shoot in Napa, California with my cousin Eden.  The drive along highway 29 is gorgeous in the spring time.  You see all the different wineries on both sides of highway 29 as you drive through the heart of Napa Valley.

I hardly get to see my cousin Eden so it was really fun doing a shoot with her for a day.  She is a talented singer with an amazing voice, and some of her music is on YouTube at www.youtube.com/edennnmarie.

All fashion photography was taken by Dena Rendlich and all scenic photos were taken by Sasha Fischman

Happy Passover and Happy Easter! XOXO

As a little kid, I remember going to my grandparents house for Passover dinner.  At the end of the night, my grandfather would hide the Matzo cracker somewhere in the house.  All my cousins and I would run around like crazy to all the rooms and try to find it, so we could redeem the prize.  This took place on my fathers side of the family.

On my mothers side of the family, we celebrated Easter.  At my aunts house, all my cousins and I would search all around her backyard for Easter eggs.  At the end of the day, celebrating both holidays with both sides of the family was a celebration of diversity, togetherness, love, and family.  All holidays bring together families and that is what matters most.  Have a Happy Passover today and a Happy Easter next Sunday everyone! XOXO

Human Dignity and Homelessness (Everyone Needs a Coat)

As my cousin Dena and I roamed the streets of San Francisco, having fun during our photoshoots, we could not help but notice some homeless people passing by.  The San Francisco mornings and late evenings can get very cold and we felt compassion as we saw so many homeless people lining the streets.  So we headed to the nearest Salvation Army and went on a mini shopping spree for coats.   As we drove to different locations for the photoshoots, we handed coats to homeless people we saw on the street.  We always keep warm coats in the trunk of my car, because everyone needs a coat.

Their faces were blurred for privacy

Their faces were blurred for privacy

As we handed the coats to some of the local homeless people, each person was appreciative.  As I watched the look in their eyes as we handed a coat to them, they were grateful and I believe that the spark in their eyes was from seeing that they were being treated with dignity.  I wondered to myself how they got to their position of homelessness.  We are all human beings and every single person has a life story of how they got to where they are.   Every human being regardless of social status should be treated with respect and dignity.  Deep down inside, I believe that every person wants to be valued as a person and they want to know that they matter.  As we approach Passover and Easter and share the holidays with loved ones, we should not forget that there is someone out there who might need a helping hand.  When you look out your window and see someone less fortunate, we can always give back in our own different ways.

Legs! Legs! Legs! Tribal Leggings On The Go

I have been so busy running around town doing styling fittings amd photoshoots.  When I am in a rush to go to fittings, sometimes I just throw on some tribal leggings and a solid colored top.  In these pictures I chose to wear my nude colored heels, because I want to achieve all the focus on the leggings.  Leggings also go perfect with solid colored ankle boots, high top converse, and ballet flats.

Hippy Angels in a Flower Field and Blue Eye Shadow

In between TV production work, I have been flying back and forth from Los Angeles and the San Francisco bay area for photography shoots with my cousin Dena.  I truly love working with her.  She is a very hard worker and has a creative eye.

I have been preparing everything for my online boutique store which will be coming out soon.  Most of the clothing and accessories in my fashion blog are going to be sold in my online store (I am selling the jewelry and clothing in this shoot below too).   My friend Elana joined me in this fashion shoot.  We have known each other since we were babies.  Sometimes Elana assists me on my styling jobs too.

Spring is coming and the flowers are blooming everywhere I turn.  To Spring, to life, to friendships! XOXO

On this shoot I experimented with blue eye shadow.  I don’t usually wear daring colored eye makeup.  But I decided to take the risk and I absolutely loved it.  I am wearing the Mac (Electric Eel) eye shadow.  It is almost a greenish teel once it is applied, and it matches turquoise jewelry.
