Happy Valentine’s Day With Some Gaudiness And Red!

Happy Valentine’s Day! I added a little red to my wardrobe for the occasion.  The Los Angeles sun seems to shine all this week (and almost every day of the year), so I have been wearing my oversized sunglasses.  I am obsessed with oversized “Jackie O style” sunglasses, large accessories, and large hair.  Sometimes I like to add a little borderline “gaudiness” to my outfits.

Neutral colored shoes such as gold and nude are a wonderful addition to a woman’s closet, because they can be matched up with all different colored outfits and they don’t take away attention from an outfit.  Typically, I like my jewelry to match my shoes or I like to match the color of my purse with my shoes.   In this case, the gold gaudy accessories and bright blazer capture people’s attention, and the neutral shoes do not take away the attention from the outfit.

My Photo Shoot at Paramount Ranch for a Company

The other day I was busy working on a photo shoot with the online shoe company called bed/stu at Paramount Ranch.  They sell leather boots and accessories at www.bedstu.com.  The old TV show called Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman was originally shot at this location.  They shot me modeling various accessories and shoes.  Out of everything that they shot on me, I really liked the leather ankle boots, black purse, and leather bracelets.  They are my favorite.  I wish they had given them to me for free to keep…hahaha…

Here are some pictures of some of the shoes and accessories I personally liked and modeled for their company:

An Outfit on the Rush

This morning I got up and I was in a rush to get to a work meeting.  I am going to be launching an online store in the near future, so I had to meet with people. I quickly grabbed the easiest color to work with – black.  I grabbed my plain black collared, button-up dress shirt and plain black skinny jean pants.  I tucked in the collared shirt and quickly threw on my Burberry belt.  Then, I accessorized with gold jewelry to match my shoes and belt.  The jewelry turned the casual, plain black clothing into a dressier outfit for my work environment.  Any designer belt and dressy jewelry can dress up a plain black outfit.

Every store that I have stepped into has been carrying the navy green Army jackets and camouflage outfits.  The other day I bought camouflage skinny jeans from the store Zara. Here is an outfit I enjoyed putting together:
